Though tuneless, stringless, it lies there in dustLike some great thought on a forgotten pageThe soul of music cannot fade or rustThe voice within it stronger grows with ageIts strings and bow are only trifling thingsA master touch, its sweet soul wakes and sings.– The Old Violin – Maurice Francis Egan 1852-1924
I play on a period violin that was made by Henry RAWLINS, circa. 1770-1780 in London, England. He was patronised by the violinist Felice Giardini.
I am available to pupils from any level of skill, teaching violin mainly but I am also available for piano tuition as well.
I am available to teach most days in the week as well as weekends. I will try to fit in around your requirements and can teach at your home or mine whichever is more convenient for you.
